The Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting (BBA) degree is designed for students who desire a strong career-oriented education and preparation in accounting, business, and the liberal arts. Coursework in the Accounting program builds students’ knowledge in financial accounting, managerial accounting, taxation, and auditing. The purpose of the curriculum is to prepare students for private, public, and governmental careers in accounting. A capstone internship course integrates accounting concepts with real-world applications. The Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting has been approved to be a licensure-qualifying program. Students graduating from the program are eligible and prepared to complete the CPA Examination (Certified Public Accountant).
